Work/Experience/Background:

I am a middle school teacher in the area.  

I have been working in education for over a decade and love encouraging kids to read for pleasure and write for fun – to stay curious, ask questions and find connections.

Connection to Chicago Ridge/CRSD 127.5  

I moved to Chicago Ridge in 2012, and love it here.  The community is great, the neighborhood is lively and the schools have been doing a stellar job with my two star students.

Why did you want to become a CRSD 127.5 Board Member

I joined the Board because I wanted to be involved in my children’s education and because I am passionate about providing a safe, welcoming, and inspiring learning environment for all kids.

Other information/interests you would like to include:

I enjoy sunshine and cool breezes, spending time with family and friends, taking pictures, writing poems, and the occasional badminton match.
